“I have played with shapes and the magical movement of bodies since I was a schoolboy. I started painting seriously as a general practitioner in Cape Town with Zoltan Borbereki as my teacher.
As a Psychiatrist I began sculpting under the Eagle eye of Pino Cattaneo.
I spent many years exhibiting bronze nudes and portraits.
In the past 3 years I have discovered the pure joy of creating a collage. I understand now how Matisse must have felt moving from his intense brilliant canvasses to the simplified, spontaneous, innocent, instant creative impulse.” Bernard Levinson.
